The following photographs were taken at Loi Kawwan, one of the 4 major bases of the Shan State Army 'South', opposite Mae Faluang District, Chiangrai Province on 7th February, 2006, no longer recognised by the ruling military council as what it should be, the day the people of Shan State rose up in unison to fight for freedom.
