44: Shan embassy opened in Germany

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

since decades the Shan people are fighting for their freedom, equality, democracy and self-determination in the jungles of Shan State in Burma / Myanmar. The earth is soaked with the blood of the people, who left their life in this war. But still the Shan are not free and their struggle for freedom is not fulfilled.

Now it is time, to transform some of the bullets into words and spread the words around the world. Words, that speak about the desire for freedom, equality, democracy and self-determination, the culture and of the Shan people themselves. On Thursday, the 7th February 2008, which is celebrated as Shan National Day, these words have settled in Germany in the heart of Europe. On Thursday the Shan Embassy Germany will be opened to represent the Shan in foreign countries.

As a consulate of the Shan Embassy Germany and as a delegate of the Restoration Council of the Shan State (RCSS) I am in close contact with the good government of the Shan State, that is fighting bravely for the freedom, equality, democracy and self-determination of the Shan people. The Shan Embassy is building a bridge from Europe to the Shan State and to the good government RCSS.

The Shan Embassy Germany is a meeting-place for the friends of the Shan people, humanitarian aid and donations can be delivered directly to needy projects or can be transferred to the foundation of the RCSS. Politicians, journalists and interested people can get answers to their questions and I like to help with a visit to the liberated areas of the good government to see the situation with your own eyes.

The Shan flag, that I received from the RCSS is now flying in front of the Shan Embassy in Germany. From now on I am available for further questions, ideas and the deeply needed donations. I thank you very much for your attention and your support for the Shan people in their struggle for freedom, equality, democracy and self-determination.

SHAN Botschaft in Deutschland eröffnet

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

seit Jahrzehnten kämpfen die Shan in den Dschungeln des Shan Staates in Burma / Myanmar für Freiheit, Gleichheit, Demokratie und Selbstbestimmung. Die Erde ist getränkt vom Blut der vielen Menschen, die in dem Krieg ihr Leben lassen mussten. Doch noch immer sind die Shan nicht frei und ihr Kampf für Freiheit ist noch nicht vollendet.

Nun ist es an der Zeit, aus einigen Kugeln Worte zu formen und sie in die Welt hinaus zu tragen. Worte, die von dem Willen nach Freiheit, Gleichheit, Demokratie und Selbstbestimmung und der Kultur und den Shan selbst erzählen. Am Donnerstag dem 07. Februar 2008, der als der Shan Nationaltag gefeiert wird, sind die Worte nun auch in Deutschland im Herzen Europas angekommen. Donnerstag wird die SHAN Botschaft Deutschland eröffnet, um die Shan im Ausland politisch zu vertreten.

Als Konsular der Shan Botschaft und als Delegierter des Restoration Council of the Shan State (RCSS) stehe ich in engem Kontakt mit dieser guten Regierung des Shan Staates, die mutig für die Freiheit, Gleichheit, Demokratie und Selbstbestimmung der Shan kämpft. Die SHAN Botschaft schlägt eine Brücke von Europa in den Shan Staat und zu der guten Regierung RCSS.

Die SHAN Botschaft Deutschland ist ein Anlaufpunkt für die Freunde der Shan, humanitäre Hilfe und Spenden können direkt über die Botschaft an die nötigen
Stellen oder die Stiftung des RCSS weitergeleitet werden. Politiker, Journalisten oder Interessierte werden hier die nötigen Antworten auf ihre Fragen bekommen und ich helfe gerne mit einem Besuch in die befreiten Gebieten der guten Regierung, um die Situation mit eigenen Augen zu sehen.

Die Shan Fahne, die ich vom RCSS erhalten habe, weht nun vor der SHAN Botschaft in Deutschland. Für weitere Fragen, Ideen und natürlich auch dringend benötigte Spenden stehe ich gerne zur Verfügung. Ich danke für Ihr Interesse und Ihre Unterstützung für das Volk der Shan in ihrem Kampf für Freiheit, Gleichheit, Demokratie und Selbstbestimmung.
